【歌詞対訳】”Love Stained” / TV On The Radio

5枚目のアルバム『シーズ』（Seeds, 2014）に収録。前作『ナイン・タイプス・オブ・ライト』でいうところの「ノー・フューチャー・ショック」（"No Future Shock"）や「ニュー・キャノンボール・ブルーズ」（"New Cannonball Blues"）の系統に属するアゲアゲなダンスナンバー。ミドルテンポでありながらコーラス部分の脳がぐわんぐわん揺らされるような高揚感は中毒性満点である。僕がTVOTRに惹かれる大きな理由のひとつは他では聞けない奇妙なリズムに酔わされるからだが、それだけならレディオヘッドを聞いていればいい。しかし、彼らの歌はトム・ヨークのそれとちがってソウルフルなのである。ごく大雑把にいえば、アメリカの黒人グループがレディオヘッドをやるとこういうサウンドになるのだろうなというのを地でいっているわけだが（見方を変えれば、白人であるデイヴ・シーテックがR&Bやファンクをレディオヘッド化したのだといえるのかもしれないが）、彼らのオリジナリティとインジェニュイティ（創意工夫）にあふれた音楽に出会ったときの衝撃は、時間がたったいまでも僕にとっては新鮮なままである。
