【歌詞対訳】”Hairpin Turns” / The National
７作目のアルバム『アイ・アム・イージー・トゥ・ファインド』（I Am Easy to Find, 2019）からのサードシングル。すこしニューウェイヴっぽい感じもするバラード曲。メジャーデビュー以降のザ・ナショナルのアルバムにはかならず珠玉のバラードが収められているが、個人的にこれはかなり好み。ミュージックビデオを見ているとレディオヘッドの「ロータス・フラワー」（"Lotus Flower"）のミュージックビデオを思い出してしまった。なお"hairpin turn(s)"は日本語だと「ヘアピン・カーブ」の意味である。
